Flubenvet 2,5% w/w concentrate

Recommended Posts

Hi

Have gone crazy and bought 240gm pot of 2.5% concentrate....what dosage do I give, I understand it is just more concentrated than usual and only gives measures on the pot for 1000 birds.......I have 3 (getting more soon but not that many more)!!! and math is not that good :!::lol:

Having said that it is very good value :D

Cheers

Rosie

I did the same and somewhere on here is a thread for advice on how much to put in the feed.

I weighed it out and put it in a container and fed them this layers pellets for about a week ??

I need to worm mine and can never remember..I think it was about 1 teaspoon to a couple of KG of pellets but let me check this dose..it is good value particularly if you have a bird farm!

1.2g per 4 kg feed.

Mix this ratio of feed up at the start of the week, and feed it ad lib to the hens in the ordinary way. They will get the correct dose as they eat according to their age and weight. They will also ingest the medication throughout the day, this way, and not in one hit such a s when you dip a grape into the mix.

Whilst dosing them, cut right back on treats, so that the medicated feed forms the bulk of their diet.

At the end of the 7 day course, discard the medicated feed.

if you only have a couple of hens you can halve or even quarter the proportions mentioned above, ie 0.6g Flubenvet to 2kg feed.
