Heather (coffee bum) the chook has taken to pecking Molly the Jack Ruussell on the paw. The other Chooks take no notice of Molly at all. Question, does Heather the Chook fancy Molly the J R.

At first our terrier went crazy at the girls, now when they are free-ranging he runs back in the house!! He is terrified of them

All my pets (including the chickens) would quite like to be friends with Billy, the dog. However, after his cursory glance at the alien object taking up his lawn space, he's ignored it and its contents ever since. They’re interested in him, but he’s grandly aloof.

 

I have sympathy for his though. He was the original pet and has had to put with years of newcomers being added to the menagerie. I'm sure if he could speak he'd inform us that all he's ever done is give us unconditional love, and all we've done is try to replace him with newer models (best not to mention the planned flock extension to him!)
