Phosphorus Posted June 27, 2009 Share Posted June 27, 2009 Griffin, you spurred me on. I rang the breeder that my two gold brahmas came from and he said if they have lacing they are definately girls. The boys would have patches on the wings and would be getting black tummys. Mine have fully feathered wings now and have no black bits at all - I was just worried about the tail feathers on one of them and the more orange lacing Spoke to araucana breeder as well. Apparantly the girls have more fluff on heads early on (mine seems to ) and the if the comb has gone red they are pretty much certainly boys. So hopefully looks like I have one boy and one girl lavender ara Black ara - still holding out but I think it is probably 70 % chance of boy - tiny blobs on peacomb and now very red Oh well 3 out 5 isn't bad Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
