merryweather did her usual escape over the Omlet Netting

and appeared in the kitchen this morning to scoff the cat food

unfortunately it was occupied by beanie before I or beanie could

even blink merryweather launched herself at the poor cat who ran scared witless

with merryweather in pursuit, beanie escaped but not before merryweather got a beak full of her fur

Cat food is the favourite thing on earth for my chooks, who are quite happy to abandon free-ranging in the garden if they think there is a sniff of the stuff to be had!

 

My cat is a ferocious hunter and fears no-one, *except* the hens- he never even tries to defend his bowl.

My three cats do a runner if one of the girls gets in the back door They all leave their food for the chickens!
