Hi

 

Popcorn went semi broody last weekend from Friday to Monday, only a half hearted attempt though but the last egg she laid was last saturday and nothing since. When should she start laying again, anybody any ideas ? With everything else she is completely back to normal

My last broody took 10 days to lay a tiddly little thing and was then back to normal the day after that.

Hi Jenny,

 

My has on two occasions now, had half hearted attempts at going broody. After snapping her out of it, after a couple of days, I have had about a week without any eggs.

Hopefully she will start laying again soon.

Popcorn has started laying again, we had an egg in the morning but then in the evening I spotted her in the nest and thought oh No not again so had a look into see what she was upto. She was eating a shell less egg. I whipped it away quick. The next morning she laid a normal egg, so hopefully we are back on track.
