After Mrs Peel died suddenly we were left with a lonely chicken, happily I am glad to announce that yesterday I collected 2 ex-batts from a rescue centre and they are now happily roaming around my garden with Steed.

 

Have already had eggs, one yesterday and one today.

When I was a kid I had mice called; Saphire, Steel and Tully. (I think they were all from the Avengers?!)

Sapphire and Steel are from a telly programme called (unsurprisingly) Sapphire and Steel.
