Space Chick
My girls (well 2 of the 3) have started being very badly behaved! Rose has discovered that she can with a bit of effort get into our 2 largest veg patches. OH had planted some Broccoli and Kohl Rabi out and she has ruined it, dug it up and dustbathed. She's also trampled some peas and broad beans, but we've been able to do some damage limitation. What really upsets OH is that he'd put up some new fences which had done the trick for a few weeks, but Rose has been clever enough to work it out Donna, has started flying at the back door and tapping her beak, demanding attention. She's also come into the house on several occasions now, which I don't mind too much until she "leaves us a Present" on the kitchen floor! She tantrums at the back door now if its shut and boks until we come out. I've stopped going out now, as she's going to learn that her bad behaviour gets her own way! Sarah-Jane is relaxed and an angel OH says that he can't wait for the WIR to be finished, as he's going to limit free-range time. Rose was always his favourite, but at the moment the way she's behaving he has lost the plot with her. I think I heard him threaten her that she'll be Sunday dinner. Thankfully I know he's all talk. Why can't there be a chook equivalent of supernanny? I need a naughty step and find out where I am going wrong with my parenting!
