wilkole
Help read a post on here last week in relation to giving chickens oil to help them lay. I am sure it was olive oil, but now cant find the post, can anyone advise if I am correct or not please. Thanks
Ain't Nobody Here
Cod liver oil facilitates the absorption of calcium so if you're giving them limestone flour, the oil will help . I bought mine in a chemist but I think you can get it in equestrian supply shops too. Olive oil can be used if they have a blockage in their crop. wilkole
Thanks for that, they have limestone flour on a regular basis, so will nip round the wholesale pet food shop and grab a bottle. How much do we give them?
Egluntyne
I add about a tablepoonful to a grub full of pellets.
