bexbex
Martha has now laid 2 eggs, one each day. Delia and Wendy don't seem interested in laying at the minute, they just want to scratch about and eat lol. I've only had them 3 days now so I guess it's just a matter of waiting? Martha does seem to have a redder comb then the other 2 have at the minute and I've read that can mean they're in lay? On a positive personal note I woke up in a bad mood as had to go and do my driving test, luckly for me I passed! yey! So I can drive now to get the chicken treats! haha Becki x

emmamakeup
Becki - congratulations on passing your test. I passed mine in 2006 and I still remember the fab feeling of relief when I was told that I had passed - well done you!!!! Going back to chooks, mine have only started laying recently and one day I can get one, another three then then like today I've had two so far. I had a feeling Hermione was going to lay the first egg as she was behaving differently to the others, ie squatting, bobbing back and forth to the eglu and she had a more red comb than the other two. I think once Hermione started getting going with it all the other two became curious and I'm positive it encouraged them in some way.
