Plum
Hello Mags, I read your other post sorry to hear she has she not picked up? You don't need to bath your chicken before spraying for lice and mites or has she soiled herself? If you bath her I would be careful using an antibacterial soap, I think just a pet shampoo or mild detergent is ok. I used warm water and stood my chicken in it sloshed the water onto her and then rubbed the soap into any manky bits. Rinse it out well. I found the warm water kept my girl quiet and she seemed to quite enjoy it. Towel her dry after and you can blow dry the feathers on lowest heat being careful not to keep the air flow in one place. It takes ages but they seem to find it soothing. As it's summer she may dry naturally.

Olly
Keep an eye to make sure she's not being bullied or kept away from food, but yes - although she's probably enjoyed all the attention, she'll be missing her friends! Give it a try, you can always take her out again if need be.
