sandyhas3chucks
well is there something that can be given to help. My disabled girl really screams out when it is coming out and they are always quite dry. It is a horrid in pain type scream/cry unlike any boise the others ever have made. It might also be due to the discomfort of her position.. bever the less they are dry. not like when they have to much calcium, not "Ooops, word censored!"bly just rock solid & dry. beach chick
vaseline or ky jelly around the vent? I've used vaseline (and latex gloves!!) in the past when Paris was eggbound... I guess its difficult if she's just laying normally and having probs because you can hardly stand around waiting for her to lay, would a dose of liquid paraffin help? sandyhas3chucks
yes, was thinking along the lines of something to put in her feed maybe, or wondering if she is deficient in something necessary for the lubrication. I think she drinks enough, being disabled she is offered & drinks every night in the Eglu before closing up, as well as other times in the day!
