My newbies haven't started laying yet, but are interested .

 

Yesterday when Donna finished laying she walked the length of the "mezzanine level" letting out the loudest and proudest egg announcement I have ever heard.

 

The newbies all went rushing into the cube to investigate what she had come out being so noisy about.

 

Well today, Rose went into the cube to lay, and all 4 newbies followed her in, and they sat in the roosting section watching poor Rose as she was laying

 

I don't know if Rose wanted an audience but she certainly got one.

I always think they go in for support Ruby hasn't laid for 8 months but still goes in with Opal.

Sweet?! I wish she'd start again, she had a moult end of October and hasn't laid since her legs have gone all fat and yellow though Her face furniture is lovely and red and well developed, at first I was worried she was ill but no - just can't be bothered
