kathyschix
LAYING!!! Lily started crouching the week before we were to leave for a vacation. Argh! I hoped she would wait until we got home but nooooooo...and Ruby started laying while we were gone too. This is what we came home to Saturday: 7 PERFECT LITTLE EGGS! Lily's are the speckled three and Ruby's the lighter brown four. Although they are all the same age (21 weeks now), Olive has been a little slower to develop. Her comb is getting very red though so I think she will come along soon. Thanks for looking! Regards, Kathy

-sarahjayne
I love the speckled eggs! I got an egg that was speckled with white the other day but it appears it was a one off
kathyschix
well done, what is the difference in weights ? Lily's are about 28 grams each and Ruby's are about 46 grams each. I know on occasion you can get double yolks and such, but otherwise do they stay about the same size? Lily's are a bit smaller than I expected.
