How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

We attended a hen party yesterday and found it very helpful. Feel a lot more confident now and can't wait to get our chickens. Have decided to have a WIR with a cube. We hope to get 4 chickens what size run would you suggest? Any tips would be appreciated.

i keep four large girls in a homemade run which measures 6ftx12ft. this is quite big but i got carried away!!!! i think a free range chicken is classed that way if it has a square meter of land to itself...i read that somewhere, so could be wrong!

my girls are very happy they have a dust bath and toys such as treat balls, (the kind you buy for dogs that you can put food in) i have just seen a great idea for a perch on this site that has a ladder up to it so i'm going to copy that.

if you can let your girls out for supervised free range time you can get away with a smaller run.

To be honest I'd for the the largest WIR that you can manage as your chooks can never have too much room, and Chook keeping is seriously addictive You'll want to add to your flock sooner than you think

I started with 4 and a cube in April, now have 7, and 3 more coming in 3 weeks, and have had a Walk in Run built Decided on the WIR after 3 weeks

 

I agree with Quick Cluck, go for the biggest size WIR you can

Yep, i agree with all the above, biggest WIR possible because dont think for a minute your gonna stick at four. We started with 4 and now have 11 My poor OH is busy building our WIR at the moment
