Our little photo sessions also answered a few questions regarding gender I'm still unsure about Doughnut the Ancona, fairly sure it's a boy but time will tell. They mature really quickly, regardless of gender, so we're still clinging to the hope that it's a fast maturing girl Lamb Chop the Faverolle has just the sweetest nature, she's so gentle and quiet. As is Bernard the Silkie but having looked at the bumps on his comb it's clear he is definitely a Bernard. My lovely Lamb Chop: Bernard: Steve the Speckled Sussex boy: Bruce who might actually be Brooke instead. She's more finely boned that Steve, has a smaller comb, is a different colour. Steve has a lot more white and Bruce has got more feathers. Fingers crossed! "Just incase you wanted a closer look at my comb mummy!" Doughnut: And just because no photo session is complete without Olive, the chicken formally known as Dustin Hoffman. Poor little Olive is smaller than these guys! Daphne Posted August 3, 2009 Share Posted August 3, 2009 cutest hen on the planet I've just got 2 8-10 month old polands and one of them has lost most of her hairdo through being mated.
