So my ex bats love their slugs .... but after a month or so decided the big fat orange ones were just too much and wouldn't touch them. In fact they would go as far as to swear at me if I put one anywhere near them.

 

That was until the young white stars moved in!

 

The white stars love the big orange slugs

 

And apparently, if the young whipper-snappers like it, then the ex bats have to have it So now orange slugs are back on the menu. and if I find one, it's every chicken for themselves. No more swearing!

My girls get those massive orange slugs in the run all the time...i think they eat the corn actually. My girls hate them too, i dont think ive ever seen them eat a slug, even tiny ones

 

No more swearing for you to endure, plenty for me!

Mine like the leopard slugs and will chase who ever finds one. They don't like the orange slugs either so I send them on their holidays into next doors wood.

If your chickens are partial to slugs make sure that you Flubenvet (worm) them regularly.
