redfrock Posted August 8, 2009 Share Posted August 8, 2009 Please can anybody give me any pointers regarding somewhere for a nice spa day for my husband and I. Am thinking along the lines of massages, reflexology, facial (for me!) rather than jacuzzi and pool. Don't want to book just the local salon, want it to be a bit more special. Just a day thing somewhere within approx 2 hours from us. Not scarily expensive though. We have just suffered a horrific bereavement (the second this year) and our wedding anniversary is approaching and I want to give us something nice to look forward to. Cate in NZ Posted August 8, 2009 Share Posted August 8, 2009 It's a long time now since I was last there, and judging by it's website it looks like it could be under new ownership but Rowhill Grange always used to be quite lovely. Seagazer Posted August 9, 2009 Share Posted August 9, 2009 I went to Rowhill for a day spa thing a couple of years ago with my mum and sister. We had a lovely time although we did book too many treatments so didn't have enough time just lounging around. Rowhill is set in lovely grounds and we had a great meal there as well.
