Kentwitch Posted August 19, 2009 Share Posted August 19, 2009 Everything is now planned. Originally we were going to buy a WIR but our friend who is a carpenter has very kindly offered to build one. It is going to measure 16ft x 8ft x 6ft with a covered roof. We plan to have a in the run with a large door so it can be taken out for cleaning. Once building work starts we can order the and four chickens which, hopefully, we will get in October after our holiday. It is so exciting and will be counting the weeks. The run is going to sit on concrete foundations to prevent any foxes from digging under. There will be a side door at one end for everyday use plus the double door at the other end for removal. Will you go into the run through the side door? Just mentioning it as my stable door is the best thing about my run - I can open the eglu door and eggport without getting pooey shoes and without the girls trying to escape. Theres plenty of pictures on the WIR threads for inspiration.
