bokashi

Recommended Posts

I tried it last year. Two bins worked brilliantly and ended up with the pickley smelling stuff they talked about. I then got a bin that went mouldy, slimey and disgusting :vom: . I couldn't face doing it again :( .

By the way, I got mine at a really good price through my local council (Waste Aware Scotland). I paid £25 for 2 but now they're £45  .

We have a wormery - its easy to manage and thriving.

We have a pair of Bokashi bins - they are empty and cluttering up the place. The first lot was OK second lot smelled like vomit - eventually the compost bin stopped smelling this way.

I've been mixing the ton of Bokashi I bought in with the chicken feed since.
