4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

I found some rather wonderul pink chunky wool

 

its called wendy Viva and its squishy , I thought it would make a wonderul scarf.

 

so I picked up 2 balls and my 10mm knitting needles and cast on 23 stitches.

I thought I would do a 2 x 3 rib.

so I knit 3, purl 2, knit 3, purl 2, knit 3, purl 2, knit 3, purl 2, knit 3.

turn over and do the opposite (so for every knit you purl, and for evey purl you knit )

 

I didnt want a big knot in the middle of my scarf so I knitted with both balls, or rather, knitted there and back with ball 1 and then there and back with ball 2 (am I confusing anyone yet ) and swapped each time.

 

anyway I got a very squishy 2 yard long scarf , that I am rather proud of cos its my first home written pattern

Sounds good! I love knitting with chunky and superchunky yarns and huge needles as it grows so quickly doesn't it! I'm currently making a narrow chunky striped scarf and just make up the stripe pattern, so it's different all the way along!
