Choose a warm day, fill a basin with water (I use a tub trug but na old washing up bowl would do) some people use eco washing up liquid but I use gentle dog shampoo and a sponge and just scrub them gently! its the rinsing that is super important, make sure all of the soap is removed or they will look greasy and it will do nothing for their wellbeing either! Towel dry them and keep them in for a bit even if its a warm day they can get chilled, once they are just damp they can go outside You can always just do a bottom wash if you have a hen with a mucky bottom Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
