Leicester_H
Hi Those that have read my other 2 threads will know that Boo has been bumper bitted. What can't she eat that she could before ? I assume corn on the cob (her favourite) is out - since the whole point of the BB is that she can't peck. Can she still manage tinned corn ? What other TREATS can she easiliy manage ? I have read that she will learn to pick up small things (eg dried corn) from the ground in a few days - is this correct ? I know she won't starve as she can plunge her whole beak into the grub of layer pellets and get some - but I am already feeling guilty !! I don't want ot deprive her of all her treats. Reassurance required from others who have fitted bumper bits please, Thanks, H
xScrunchee
I have 3 girls with bumper bits and they all manage corn on the cob without a problem. They also manage mixed corn thrown on the ground. In fact there is nothing which they cannot still have-including eachothers feathers
