I used to make a small hole in each end of the egg with a needle, then stick the needle into the hole & "stir up" the yolk so it comes out of the hole in the bottom (make sure the needle is sterile if you are planning to use the egg, though after the following instruction I think pet consumption is best )..............then blow as hard as you can through the top hole until all the contents have shot out the bottom! Do not whatever you do suck ! Be a bit careful that you don't blow too hard & break the shell, sometimes some yolk gets stuck in the bottom hole & needs to be helped out. Wash the egg shell out & let it dry, then it's ready for painting, have fun! I always managed to ask my mum for one just before we left for school....for use that day .
