iar fach goch
Well folks, I currently have 112 lettuce growing in my veg patch - yes I have counted them, just to make sure they're not breeding of their own accord! Have given loads away to friends, family, neighbours, hairdresser ...etc but am still left with loads. We tend to use two or three in a week in salads and sarnies, so at this rate, by my reckoning we should have finished them by about May next year! . I only shoved them in last minute as I had some space free and I was counting on the slugs eating a few but no such luck! Is there anything I can do with lettuce? Lynn
You could make lettuce soup. Sounds weird but tastes really yummy. There are a few receipes on the Riverford website.

Barkisland
Thanks, I once had lettuce soup made by someone else and asked for the recipe, but it got lost somewhere. It was yummy!
