lydia1986
Hi all I have 2 Lohmanns, Henrietta and Marmalade (I think these are the same as the gingernut ranger) and 1 Copper Star, Marmite (I think this is the same as a miss pepperpot). The Lohmanns are at POL, and the Copper Star is a few weeks off POL, they were fine during travel and the first day they were here, however day 2 the two Lohmanns started pecking at Marmite , they are pulling her feathers out, but have not drawn blood so far as I can see. Now day 3 and Marmite is staying in the eglu only making dashes outside for food and water and often getting chased back inside, they seem ok at night. Also they seem to think twice if I am sat with them. Help please. Thanks Lydia
Olly
If it's only day 2 I wouldn't panic. It looks horrible, but as long as blood isn't being drawn, they will sort out the pecking order and Marmite will get more confident. As long as she's getting food and water she'll be ok. abwsco
Lydia, it should settle down like Olly has said but it should help if you can put out more feed and water stations. I'd put three out if it was me.
Egluntyne
I would squirt the bullies with an icy blast from a hosepipe. The short sharp shock is often all it takes.
