JanTheDiver
Hi, I just went to check on the girls and Ginger did her business in front of me and it was pure layers pellets with fluid! Both Ginger and Carrot seem a lot younger than the other four, so I don't know if putting them onto layers pellets straight away has caused a tummy problem. Has anyone else come across this? Grateful for any comments as I am a complete novice, but loving every minute (even the pooey ones!) Thanks Jan
Egluntyne
You don't say how old they are. Why not mix the pellets into a mush with hot water and see if that makes a difference?
JanTheDiver
Hi there, I am not sure how old they are, I bought six chickens from a recommended supplier on Monday. They say that all their hybrids are between 18-21weeks old, but Carrot & Ginger's combs and bodies are much smaller than the others, so I am assuming they are younger than the rest. I will try what you suggest and see if it helps. I don't think that they will be getting much goodness out of the pellets the way they are coming out the other end! Thanks for your help Jan
