jessie15
Hi I am thinking of getting some banties and wondered what is the smallest of them? Any opions on whats the nicest kind to get also appreciated!
tom123
Seramas are the smallest but I think the most friendly and still very small are defiantly pekins! They have such character and charm and can be easily tamed. You can get them in a massive range of colours including frizzle ones However if you would like eggs, go for something like a RIR bantam or a Light Sussex bantam. Both fantastic layers just not really small. Whereabouts are you? Tom
Redwing
Tom is right Seramas are the smallest Dutch, japanese bantams are small and Seabrights are both small and stunning
The Dogmother
I have had all of the above.. Japanese have the smallest legs, so not good in long grass and tend to pick up kites off the land. Dutch are tiny and fragile. Seramas are more robust than the other two.
