Adams Egg
I picked up a small wooden coop at the weekend and with it came half a sack of mixed corn. It had an expiry date of May 2008 and on closer poking appears full of flour mites. We have bagged it in a sealed bag but it seems such a waste, there must be 10 - 12 kgs, anyone got any ideas what do do with it or shhould we just dispose of it. (The coop however is being stripped and disinfetced for some extra hens as demand has outstripped supply (Long story involving children & a business enterprise!) -sarahjayne
If I were you I would throw it out without question, for the sake of what, £6 in the feed store. I wouldn't want to risk any of my girls getting ill.
