Sara-W Posted September 12, 2009 Share Posted September 12, 2009 Well, as the title says Delilah is definately a drake! she has changed dramatically in the last 2 weeks and has gone from this to this I am now hoping that this will help identify his breed, ( indie and lesley I hope you can help with that ) and I really must think of a new name! Guest Posted September 12, 2009 Share Posted September 12, 2009 this has made me giggle , You have a mallard Male My wild Mallards are just starting to colour up. Ducks do moult. If you look on my posting I have ducks sort of....there is a pic of the young mallards I have just acquired 3 of them are male they are on the pond with the female. On the whole though the male ducks are not as bad as cockerels in the fighting front..although I think Lesley has one that is quite Macho? How funny the before and after picture!
