AnnieP
My grandmother's maiden name was Henn!! So, if any of you have any Lucy's, then you've got her namesake, which probably means she'll be cantankerous, wilful, reads a lot....she's 95 and going strong and drinks about half a bottle of whiskey a day! That's my girl...I'm working on being just like her! By the way: She's thrilled I've got chickens "of course in the war, we all kept chickens...." Lesley
I'm surprised you didn't call one of yours 'Lucy' then Annie! Has she seen your chickens yet or just heard about them? I don't recall seeing a 'Lucy' on here?
AnnieP
I think she'd probably give me a good clip round the ear if I called a hen after her! No, she is housebound unfortunately...but I've told her lots about them and she's seen pictures. She's not sure about the yellow eglu! Ohh, I think I should introduce her to my grandmother - who is well into her eighties (a lady never reveals her age dear ) and who is completely mad (guess that's where I get it fro m ) who is often found opening a bottle of wine (purely medicinal dear). She thinks chickens are hoot (or should that be a cluck? )

Mel (& Paul)
Thats better!!!! Those of us who are addicted to the forum tend to have "eglu eyes" from sitting in front of the pc too long, so we need lots of big writing
