Ain't Nobody Here
I have my laptop linked by a wireless router to my cable modem on the PC. Occasionally, the little PC symbol at bottom right, shows the little yellow moving dot and status: "acquiring network address". I'm still able to get online but wonder why that is? Don't you need to have your network address "acquired"?
Geoid
Windows is a bit slow. So it would show up after the network had been acquired
Ain't Nobody Here
I've been online for over an hour though and it's still showing "acquiring network address".
Geoid
Its windows, the little icon in the taskbar lies all the time. Once it said I was connected, when I hadn't pugged anything in!
