4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

hi all

 

try to keep it short

 

i want to build something within my WIR to act as a bit of a visual divide so my new ones can get away from top oldie Dora! nothing mega high just so they can get out of eyes view. as Dora still chases them off now and again.

 

havent a clue what to use/build? but want it to look nice and possible act as some enrichment.

 

i have some odds and ends in my garden i could use-

 

7 new scaffolding planks (dont ask! )

1 railway sleeper

5+ thick branches i was saving to make perches from

 

happy to buy other bits but havent a clue

 

was thinking possibly to add plants etc, but cant think what to build

You can't go wrong with a table/mezzanine level

 

I have a shelf then a criss cross of branches leading to the edges of the run and over to a table so it kind of adds another 'floor'

Perhaps some kind of table/shelf for them to hop up onto.

 

When my newbies first went into the WIR with the big girls I used a couple of plastic storage boxes.....on their side....in the corner.....so the girls could run behind them and shelter.....does that make sense?

 

I have a childs plastic table (£1.50 from tesco that I have recently put in with a couple of my bantams and they love hopping up and down from it....but I think they treat it as a game.......king of the castle stylee

maybe build a table then out of the planks

 

then could put plants underneath to act as a filler?

oo just thought could cut up the sleeper for legs then planks for top

 

then it could be movable around the run
