ChrisEllis Posted September 16, 2009 Share Posted September 16, 2009 Hi, I read in a few places about showing the chicks the outdoor world and making a small run on a patch of grass...anyone got any advice how old is appropriate? i dont want to put them out too soon to see what its like but i dont want to keep them in their box the whole time either. Redwing Posted September 16, 2009 Share Posted September 16, 2009 If its a warm day then I put mine outside in a dog cage for a couple of hours but am around at all times to bring them in if they dont seem happy or if the weather turns cold, I do this from about three weeks always siting the cage on a table/bench in a very sheltered place Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
