katiew7103
I am in the process of constructing my WIR can anyone advise me how deep the gravel boards to my fences need to be dug down in order to prevent the fox digging under. Thanks katie
cluckingmad
Hi Katie, Not sure about the depth for the gravel boards, but we've put in a trench of concrete under our WIR - its only about 1 foot deepand 15cm wide.... our WIR is on flagstones surrounded by this ring of concrete so the fox can neight dig under nor through it
sandyhas3chucks
you will need a skirt of some sort either mesh or concrete slabs. mr fox likes to dig right up to where it is trying to get. That is why people put them on concrete or dig like silly feet down!
mountainboarddude
i buried the mesh about a foot down and then placed patio slabs around it just to make sure
