How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

Hello all

 

Me again after some help on my yolkless egg laying lady!

 

She's got a bald bum - has for ages now, we're doing as Barbara has suggested and she has a bit of re-growth.

 

Anyway - she has a white lump on her rear end. It's not near the vent, and looks like an in-grown hair follicle. It's white, about 1cm long and kind of rectangular.

 

Any ideas what it is? Skin round it is clear, not swollen or red... and it doesn't seem to be bothering her.

 

Any help appreciated.

Are you sure that it isn't just a feather emerging in its little papery looking wrapper?

No it's not a feather. It started as a little pink bump but is now whiter and longer. I'll seeof I can get a picture to post tonight when my husband gets home.

Preen gland is also know as Uropygial Gland.

 

Snowball, my Amber Star's preen gland can often be seen but I is on the top of her bum, just in front of her tail.

It just looks like someone drew a raised white line on her rear about 1cm long.
