What makes a chicken coop easy to live with?

I was thinking about getting the Omlet chicken netting. Is it any good and worth the money.

I love it . It is expensive but sometimes people want to sell half theirs so look out for that on Eglus/Cubes for Sale.

 

It keeps my girls confined to the flowerbeds and is hardly noticeable against the green foliage .

I rank my Omlet netting as my best buy to date. I have invested in extra poles too.

 

I find the colour blends in with my garden and I have cut it up* and put a third of it along my flower borders so they don't eat it and the other two third's enclose their free range area.

 

You can't really see it from a distance, it's very easily moved too. I move mine three times a year as the chooks occupy a different area of the garden depending on the season.

 

 

* Please don't cut your netting if you want to electrify it. I worked for me but others may regret cutting their netting.

I've got Omlet netting and I've also bought some 38mm square mesh from these guys http://www.knowlenets.co.uk/pest_game/poultry_netting.htm

 

My growers could get through the holes in the Omlet netting whereas they can't squeeze through the new stuff. The downside is that it's not as strong because it doesn't have wire running through it like the Omlet net.

Omlet netting is fantastic although quite expensive it has been worth every penny. the netting blends so well with the garden and is great for keeping the little hooligans under control
