At last I have sat down to post some photos of my newest babies....they are about 15 weeks old and are all bantams with a mixture of Pekin and Araucana and goodness knows what thrown in for good measure

 

Here we have Copper, which is short for Copper Beech, named after one of the trees in the garden (we had a Tulip and have got a Hazel after 2 of the trees )

 

 

...next we have Clover who is mottled with white and the most beautiful petrol on water colours and has Pekin feet

 

 

.......and finally Jasmine who is totally black, part araucana and very hyper

 

 

They are intended to be Blossom's friends, and so far little Miss B is asserting her authority, but not being too nasty thank goodness....long may it last

 

I'm still considering getting a couple of pure Pekins to go in my Bantam pen.......four in a with extension is still going to be rather roomy !!!

 

And in case you missed it on the Egg section, little Miss B became a big girl today and laid her first egg ......she also escaped & got beaten up by Snowdrop, but hey the good news overpowers the not so good
