I have a sussex hen who keeps getting broody . She was brought pol in january and has been broody several times. i always separated her and after a few days she was fine and always started laying again about a week or so later. However i have since moved house and no longer have a separate cage for her to go in . so i thought i would let her sit on the nest until she got over it......but she has been like it for about a month now. I do lift her off and put her outside so she can eat & drink but after that she is straight back in the nest. will she ever get over it???

You really need to separate her into a broody coop, making sure that lots of air can circulate underneath her to cool her down.

 

Some people think dunking them in water can help, others don't - up to you to see what works
