Is this normal?

Recommended Posts

Ive never had rabbits before but recently aquired 2 in as many weeks. Anyway they are both male (one definatly is and my vet thinks the other is but isnt 100%?) we let them mix together in the run and they have been getting on famously ( benny is older than thumper by around 3months) however today while ive been at work my mom has told me that they have been up to no good and benny has been trying to make babies with thumper? Is this spose to happen or have I two gay rabbits or just a confuzed one? Can anyone help please.

Thanks in advance

Bunnies reach sexual maturity at around 4 - 6 months at this stage they can get quite grumpy. :( Don't know if your vet has already mentioned it but you will need to think about getting them neutured as soon as they reach sexual maturiity as I don't think 2 unneutured bucks will live together happily.

If you haven't already found them I find these 2 sites really useful for information.
