Chicken boarders

Are all of the eglus and cubes built the same way, or can you get a mirror image version of them? I'm working on my OH still, but the only spot we have in out garden would mean that the egg port on both the eglu and the cube would be against the fence! I don't really want to have to look at the back of whatever we end up getting to make the egg port open out into the garden. Oh, and whilst I'm at it, as someone else has already posted - eglu or cube?! I'd like 3 chooks - but to add on the eglu run converter would hugely increase the floor area taken up as oppose to the cube with standard run... does anyone have any suggestions?!

I'm afraid that as far as I know, they are standard production - all have the egg-port on the same side. You could email Omlet with a suggestion that they produce 'left hand' and 'right hand' ones, but I think that's the only option at the moment. However, you don't need a huge amount of space to open the eggport.

 

If you get a Cube, then you could possibly access the eggs from the back, without opening the eggport?
