do you stop feeding treat, extras, for the week of worming?

 

also do you stop letting them freerange for the week, which will be hard as always try and get out when go in the WIR

I still give some treats (enough to get them back in the run) and still allow free-ranging when I am worming, however, I wouldn't like to guarantee that this is best practice

I am worming my chooks this week, I have cut right down on the treats but am letting them out of the run when I get in from work about 4pm. As they go to bed at 7.00 this only gives them 3 hours free ranging. They only have access to the medicated food for most of the day. Yesterday they scoffed the lot.

I continue to let mine free range all day (as they do everyday) but do cut out the treats. Today is my last day of worming and it'll be nice to give them a few treats again tomorrow!

will stop treats and just let them out freeranging for couple hrs, i know it will be hard as they come running waiting for there treats
