Gem_Seb Posted October 11, 2009 Share Posted October 11, 2009 Hi! im new to quail keeping, i have 3 bantoms and was told by the lady i got the quail from they would be fine together is the run is big enough, she had some on her farm so i can see it is possible but was wondering if anyone else does this? They are seperate at the moment but will it be ok to put them in the same run eventually? obv i will put plenty of hidy holes for them if they need them and might keep their own little house which the others cant fit through so they do have some cover if needed, our WIR is 3mx2m will this be big enough for the 3 bantoms and 2 quail to live peacefully? Willow Posted October 12, 2009 Share Posted October 12, 2009 Sorry they do need to be kept apart. I'm a bit concerned by a breeder saying you can keep them together. Gem_Seb Posted October 12, 2009 Author Share Posted October 12, 2009 I thought that would be the case! i plan to section them off a bit of the WIR i have for the bantoms how much space do they need ideally? i have a seperate house for them anyway which was my chooks first house so they are in there at the moment and i can just cut through the other end of the run and section them off a bit..
