Lesley
This is not an exact science - I just bung everything in and then taste it to see if it needs more sugar It is so easy to make though and I use it as a filling for a few 'mincepies' as I don't like dried fruit. Cranberry, Port and Orange Sauce 300g bag of fresh cranberries Juice and rind of one orange Slosh of Port (optional) Cook gently until most of the berries have popped and the mixture is quite thick. Take pan off the heat. Add around 200 g of granulated sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved. Taste and add more sugar if necessary. Keep in the fridge.
