Space Chick
Could they be moulting?
Fur 'n' Feathers
There are a number of things it could be. IWe've got 2 newbies and the Coral is losing feathers as she's attaining her adult plumage. Because she's white it's more noticable. If there's no other evidence to show they're fighting/attacking eachother it could be moulting. Also check them for mites. There's been quite a lot of depluming mite around this year (as every other mite ).
Chicken Shirl
I would think they are starting to moult..... The first time mine started I thought something had been killed in the garden and went around looking for a dead bird.... It was my Marilyn starting to moult her dust bath was full of feathers. Three of mine are moulting at the moment. I don't think you should be too worried if there has been no trouble before.
