coco
Well after all my uuminng and aahing over what chooks to get I now have 2 ex batts. I was going to get some in December but having been told by my son that we HAD to get more chooks today I rang our local animal rescue. She had 60 ex batts looking for homes so we came home with two. Haven't decided on names but possibly Lily and Lola. They are in fairly good condition considering they have come al the way from Brighton yesterday. My girls don't seem at all bothered and are just pecking around the run the batts are in. Pipa is showing the most interest and looking as if to say where did you come from. I gave the new girls a bowl with grit in which they were fascinated by , Prue was trying to get the grit through the wire, its always more intersting when it is somebody elses.
