Tefal Jam Maker?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if you can do normal recipes in the Tefal Jam maker? I don't want to be making oodles of the same recipe so this seems like a good idea ... and I'm always a but of a sucker for a gadget! I've read every review going under the sun on the thing but can't seem to find anything that gives me a definite answer to this and I really want to be able to use it for any recipe that might take my fancy.

I asked for one for Christmas last year - husband went into shock as household goods are strictly off limits as presents!

I love it. I had always wanted to make jam but had been put off by the equipment and mystery (bubble, bubble, toil & trouble). The jam maker has unravelled all of this and having sucessfully made marmalades, jams, jellies and the onion confit from their recipe book (which is very confusing at first so be warned you need to sit down and read all of the English bits before you start and bookmarking the relevant pages helps), I have now branched out into converting other recipes. The Lakeland site review page on the Jam Maker is a good start as people have started to put their own recipes on there.

I'm not a gadget person as a rule but am so pleased that Father Christmas saw fit to oblige!
