JanTheDiver
I have come home to a bit of confusion this evening. Went out to collect the eggs from the girls when I got home, I have one that is definitely Hester's (dark brown with brown spots), one that is definitely Belle's (light brown with white spots) and another dark brown with brown spots. Now this either means that Hester has laid two eggs in one day, which I know is not impossible as I have read about other hens doing it, or it could be that Carrot has laid her first egg Carrot is one of my two Rhode Island Red's and she has been crouching and getting very vocal for about three weeks, so I know she was almost there, but I don't know what colour her eggs are supposed to be. Tikka our other layer since we got her in August has just stopped laying and the egg is wrong colour for hers. Can any one tell me? Thanks in advance Jan
