Plum Posted November 8, 2009 Share Posted November 8, 2009 I think you are best composting the droppings rather than leaving them down but I did read somewhere you can add water to poo and use it as a grass fertilizer. Wish I could remember where I read it so I could try some. I don't think its so much the mould on poo as turning the ground acidic which means chicken diseases can live in the soil + worm eggs and liming it counteracts this.
