chickric
I am after a light for the back garden, with PIR, I don't want to have to have it wired in and have been looking at solar powered ones, does anyone have any recommendations as there is a bewildering array to choose from. Thanks.
Redwing
I dont have a solar PIR light but have just purchased a Powerbee solar shed light and am extremely pleased with it, its really bright especially considering the solar panel is under a roof overhang, I think the same people make PIR ones too Edited for typo Edited November 11, 2009 by Guest
The Dogmother
There are some good ones out there, but whatever you do, don't buy this type - I got one on offer through the Daily Mail, it was useless, they replaced it twice and it was still useless so I got a refund! Reikiranf
Thanks for the warning Claret, I'd been thinking of getting one of those for the front of the house. I got a solar powered security light from Makro for £19.99 +vat it has 2 led lamps on it and a pir, obviously it's not as good as a proper wired in one but it does give out more light than I expected. I've got mine on the shed so if Mr Fox comes to check out the Eglu I can see him.
