I opened a new bag of ex-bat crumbs today and a moth flew out!

 

Back/greyish moth, brief inspection shows no sign of any others but do you think its ok to feed the hens that bag full? Does this happen occasionally?

 

I'm wondering whether any moth eggs etc might that just be a nice protein bonus, or do you think its best dumped? (It's only a 5kg bag so not the end of the world)

If the food is in date and it was just the one moth I would probably use it
